Date Night

Thanks to a special visit from Mommom and Grandpa Mike, Mom and Dad were able to enjoy their first date night in a long time. It was such a special treat for us and we had a marvelous time! Mommom and Grandpa Mike arrived Monday night and on Tuesday, Grandpa Mike had a business dinner and Mommom was ecstatic to babysit for our little angel. Mom and Dad went to the Cape Cod Room at The Drake. Patrick, the Maitre D' of the restaurant, is an old friend of Doug's Dad and was so very happy to see us. Patrick is from Ireland and is just the sweetest gentleman around. He asked us what the occasion was and we said that it was the first time since August that we had been out on our own and he was shocked! Then, we showed him a picture of James and he said with his Irish brogue, "Aye, that's a face you stay home for." Indeed it is. Thanks to Mommom for babysitting! We had a fabulous date night!
