ABD

ABD stands for "All But Dissertation" and that's where I am currently in my journey to get my PhD in Social Psychology. Doug says it stands for "All But Done." Technically, both are correct :)

As this is the case, I'm going to be putting nearly all of my attention, time and focus into my dissertation during all hours when James is not awake. I need to finish entering the data, analyze, interpret, analyze, write what will feel like millions of drafts, finally complete a final draft, format the final, defend (read: answer many, many questions) it in front of the faculty, passing and then graduating all by the end of the year. To do this, the final should be written by August.

So, this means that the blogging will be greatly decreased - maybe 2 posts per month. This month will have a few more posts - Grandma and Grandpa Sennott are coming in town and of course, James' 14th month recap. It's time for me to get the focus back on graduating and getting my work published! As soon as the dissertation is completed, the plethora of blog posts will resume. All joking aside, I've got a lot of work to do!
