So the village is redoing a road one block west of us and we walk up there almost everyday to see the big machines. One time I brought both boys up when the excavator was tearing the street apart and they both sat in the grass, James' hands on his lap and Cillian's thumb in his mouth and then just silently watched. FOR 20 MINUTES. Silently.
On our walks to explore, James always asks to touch the barricades and barrels. He just wants to feel them. To be a 'real road work guy' he tells me. It breaks my heart. He is so cute. So here he is, being a real road work guy.

I don't know why I'm making such a weird face here but Cillian is thoroughly enjoying his roadwork lesson from James and seeing all the equipment. I'll tell you - boys are an adventure everyday. These two love to be outside and love to go for walks. Truth be told I like it too :)
