Cillian had his first taste of ice cream today. We decided we'd all walk up and get ice cream when Doug got home from work (after dinner). It was such a hot day and this idea was perfect. I mean come on - ice cream is so much fun ;) It is so nice to be able to walk up the street and get ice cream. Little did we know that the ice cream place would close on Labor Day. It's only open from Memorial Day to Labor Day! We just made it! James ran almost all the way there. He just loves the freedom and Doug and I love being able to let him run. The walk home was the best though. Tummies full of ice cream, slowly walking home enjoying everyone's flowers and trees and watching the bunnies running around. Just a beautiful way to end the day.
