Happy Left Handers Day to our favorite Leftie in the whole world - JAMES!!!!!!!!!!!
And yes, I made a big deal of this. And yes, James was excited and told everyone he saw that it was Leftie Day. He felt very special! And the best thing? This morning on the radio, the dj made a big deal about it too and the station had a special focus of playing music by left handed musicians. Not only did we learn that a lot of musicians are lefties, but a lot of musicians named JAMES are lefties: Jimmy Page, Jimmy Cliff, and Jimmy Hendrix.
I think the coolest person James learned was left handed was this guy:
He told everyone - Did you know Kermit the Frog is a leftie like me?!?! I never knew!
We had so much fun learning about all the left handed musicians and James loved feeling so very special. He also loved learning that his favorite Beatle Paul is a leftie too. I couldn't believe so many of our favorites were lefties - just a few: David Byrne, Kurt Cobain, Billy Corgan, Bella Fleck, Judy Garland, Paul Simon, Ringo! and Dennis Wilson. So so cool. James gets to share this special trait with his Papa and his Auntie E too. Happy Left Handers Day to our favorite lefties!!!!!
