So James has been doing a great job with Cillian and with going to physical therapy and helmet appointments and eye appointments with me all summer long and some days he just is like super outstanding and we wanted to reward that kind of behavior. So, one night we were watching tv and I asked Doug what show he was watching because it was right up James' alley so to speak. Doug said it was called How It's Made and it shows you how various things are literally made. So from sorbet ice pops to concrete crushers, school buses, lipsticks, train signals - like anything. The other show is Modern Marvels - Doug loves this show - it's an hour so this is a bigger reward. They do entire shows on things like Wood or the strongest materials or tools. Broader topics but still really cool to watch and informative. Both shows are heavy on engineering and machinery and building and tools which is what James is into right now. Here are the guys totally sucked into a show. James is really cute he calls Modern Marvels - Modren Marbles. The DVD on his lap is Lady and the Tramp. I'm selling him on it right now but he won't stop watching Robin Hood ... He loves it and loves Robin Hood and thinks Hiss and Little John are hilarious. I keep getting the Prince John the Phony Kind of England song stuck in my head....and saying Ooooo da-lalley.
Anyway, they watch the shows On Demand and there's a Proactive commercial that James memorized. He can recite the whole introduction and does it every day. "Blackheads!
