On Thursday, I got a parking ticket while we were in school. It wasn't for parking illegally but for not having put on our new vehicle registration sticker ... oops. Well, I didn't notice until we were driving and then while pulling the car over, I said, "Awwwww nuts!" Trust me, it took every ounce of me not to say the other wonderful four letter words running through my head. But, thankfully that phrase exited my mouth instead of the other more colorful ones. I say thankfully because we have a two year old that has become a mimic.
James dropped his book and said, "Aw Nuh!" I forgot my cell phone when we left the other day and James says, "Aw Nuh!" Anything happens and James says, "Aw Nuh!"
This story just made me smile. I recounted it to Serge later and he chuckled. Now I make a conscious effort to say non-curse words for when I'm around my favorite young man...this one is going in the books!
