Today, James finished his first year of school! These photos are from Tuesday after class. It was supposed to rain today (and it did!) so I took photos of him just in case I couldn't today.
James is just too cute sometimes.

Today was a bittersweet day for all the parents and the teachers. We were all outside the classroom, having separated, and then we started talking about wanting to go in and be with the little guys on the last day and we decided to go for it. Then, before we knew it, we all had our cameras out and were hanging out with our little ones. It was great. It was one of James' classmate's birthday today so they had miniature blueberry muffins for snack.

Everyone had a ball in the gym and James loved going down the slide.
As we sat down to sing, James reached out for and held Elliott's hand.
Her Dad and I were both scrambling for our cameras and I was able to get this shot before he let go.
Because it was thunderstorming outside during class, James and Mom had a slew of puddles to jump in on the way back to the car. Perfect ending to a great last day of school.
