A Weekend of Leaves

I know that sounds ridiculous. A weekend of leaves. But it was. And it was so much fun. Different trees drop their leaves at different times. I mean, that sounds incredibly obvious when I read that back to myself but it's something I didn't really realize until this year. I think last year I was just so overcome by living in a house and having a backyard and looking at everything that I didn't really realize it. But this year, our big trees in the backyard dropped their leaves at the same time and we noticed. We made the biggest leaf pile and enjoyed it thoroughly. The boys loved raking with Doug and both James and Cillian loved jumping in the pile, walking through the leaves and loved when Doug would throw leaves up into the air and they'd come floating down on them. We took so many pictures over these last two days. It may seem like I included them all but I didn't. Promise :)
