This was the first time in my life I ever heard of this "kinder cabinet" and I asked James about and he said that he never talked about it because he could never go into it but that it would all change today. He was so pumped.
This year, James goes to school from 8:30 until 3pm. The kinders have something called Specials. Every day they do the normal routine from 8:30 until 11:30 with the whole 3-6 class. Then they eat lunch all together with the teachers in the classroom and then they have their Special for the day. The kinders from James' class mix with kinders from other classes and are put into three groups - A, B and C. Each group has their own rotation of specials during the week. Here is James' schedule: On Monday they have Literacy where they go to the library and learn from Cecilia the librarian. On Tuesday James has Art with Cindy; Wenesday Spanish with Oscar; Thursday THEATER(!!!!!) with Mary Beth (who's excited? me? surely you jest!) and Friday he has gym with Rose. He comes home every day and almost passes out in the car. A few times he did fall asleep if we didn't go straight home and had to get gas or pick up food for dinner.

Oh my little James. My angel James. You are so big and so smart and so loving and so funny. We are so lucky to have you in our family. We are so very proud of you James.
