Motherhood Quote

Some one a while ago had suggested to me that what I do now - being a mother - is unintelligent and doesn't require lots of thought, effort or work. I always find myself unable to say what I want to at the time because I never know quite what to say and most of the time honestly, I'm too afraid to let it out of my mouth because really, once it's out there, it's out there. At the time the person said that to me, I just was so shocked and hurt I didn't know what to say. But, then today I found this.

"I looked on child-rearing not only as a work of love and duty but as a profession that was fully as interesting and challenging as any honorable profession in the world and one that demanded the best that I could bring it." Rose Kennedy
