Thursday

So things kept happening today that I would mentally say I need to blog about that - I should write that down, etc. So, I just thought I'd do it all here in a post called "Thursday." 

This morning, early this morning, C woke up around 5:30 and we got him to snooze until 5:45am. So I got up, fed him and he was acting fussy and yesterday he didn't eat too much and then I was holding him with his back on my thighs and he was facing me and then all the sudden his face got so red and well, you know. So off to his room to change him? Almost.

I stopped in our bathroom because I heard Doug in there and we stopped to say hi. I didn't think the poop was that big so I didn't rush to change him. On the way to Cillian's room I started to feel something warm, looked down and well, everything was everywhere if you catch my drift - HUGE blowout.

It was so bad that I walked Cillian right into our bathroom and opened the shower door and handed him to Doug laughing. Cillian took his first shower this morning. Thank you to Doug for being such an amazing Husband and Dad! I washed and Doug rinsed and we both laughed.

To be honest, I was just so thankful that Cman didn't do that in the car on the way to school. It was freezing rain today so it's not the best weather to have to change a diaper in on the side of the road. We did it in 30 degree weather once and it's something I would prefer not to have happen again :)

I also brought the bumpo up to the bachelor pad. This way Cillian has a place in which to eat his 'morning meal'  - this way he doesn't have to sit on me or the floor - we had been doing this and well, it's tricky to say the least. Then we got back home and we were eating lunch and Cillian ALMOST rolled over - I mean look at this - I couldn't believe he didn't do it. James and I both were cheering him on and he would just stare at us and smile or laugh. I think he's going to roll over any day now. SO EXCITING!!!

James played Doctor with Cillian. He's very into this now - it makes sense. We take Cillian to so many appointments so James has been mimicking them a lot.

 

 

Then it was naptime and James was sitting in his chair with his book he picked out - The Giving Tree - and I put Cillian up there with him and my heart skipped in such a way and I said - I'm going to be right back - I grabbed Cillian, we found my camera and I took these. My boys. I love them so.

 

And last night! Ha! I totally forgot about this until I was getting photos from my phone for the post!

Oh my gosh. Last night after dinner, James said, "You know what I haven't had in a long time? Vanilla ice cream!!!!!!!!!!!" And then he and Doug had some. BUT ... James suggested Doug have his ice cream in Cillian's bowl because James loves vanilla ice cream too much.

He is so cute and such a stinker :)
