Back to School Night

Back to School Night was tonight at James' school. I remember how excited I used to get when my Mom went to Back to School Night. It's so surreal to me that now I'm going. To top it off, I'm the Room Mom or Room Parent for James' class. I even got a fancy name tag to wear at school this evening :)


For our class, the discussion were not one on one but with the whole class - talking about what the children will be doing, what we should expect to see at home, etc. James has two teachers, Toni and Mary, and they were laughing about James calling Toni, "Toni Pony" and how Mary is trying to get him to say "Mary Berry" so she can have a nickname too.

One Mom was laughing and telling me that her daughter kept talking about syrup and James when she got home from school the other day. James brought Mrs. Butterworth's with him to class.
