However, we do have some exciting/scary news. Last night, Mom was making James' last bottle of the day and she noticed she could see the bottom of the formula bin. So, she measured out the rest of the formula to see how many bottles were left and are you ready? Three and a half. That's it. Today, we've had our last first bottle of the day. Mom decided that for the last day of bottles, James would have his morning, second to last and last bottle. This way Dad can give James his second to last bottle ever and then Mom can give James his last.bottle.ever. Mom is freaking out.
Goodbye Bottles

Hello Sippy Cups
We all left the house together this morning and Dad went to work and Mom and James went to Fox & Obel to pick up Kemp's Vitamin D Whole Milk. We decided on Kemp's because it's local to us - an organic farm in Minnesota that does not use hormones with their stock of cows so we can know for sure that the milk is free of rbST. Here's what our first jug of milk looks like. We couldn't remember the last time we had WHOLE milk in the house. Today, in addition to James' 3.5 bottles, we're going to do 1.5 feedings with whole milk in a sippy cup. After typing this, Mom just had to do deep breathing.
Please wish us luck - tomorrow is our first day with no bottles - we're going cold turkey people!

I like the cold turkey!! :) So tell me why Whole Milk. xo
