James went to his first CUBS game today!
We had 2 Cubs outfits today. Feedings have been a little messy lately and Mom didn't want to mess up James' game shirt so James rocked another Cubs shirt this morning! Here's our little guy enjoying his morning snack.

Dad had half a day today and invited Mom and James to go to Wrigley! What a great Dad!

Getting ready for the game - Yay!

Even the buses are rooting for the Cubbies.

Look at this parking spot - 2 blocks away from Wrigley!

See the marquee behind Doug and James? WELL! Since it was James' first trip to Wrigley and his first Cubs game, he got a certificate, a sticker, and his name is going to be displayed on the Marquee and Wrigley will send us a photo - Um, how cool is that?!!?

Here's a shot of the boys pre-game, our view and Mom and James at the game.

Our stay at Wrigley was not too long. The noise level there was intense to say the least. You never really notice stuff like that until you have a child I suppose. We got to our seats and soon after, a ball came right up to our section and a guy with a Sox hat was trying to take the ball. Now, the Cubs weren't playing the Sox - this guy just happened to be there with a Sox hat on - can you believe this guy? Everyone started booing and yelling at the guy and James got very upset. Then everyone cheered and James got very upset. Sooooooooooo, we got up and left the seats. We walked around for a bit and bought some peanuts - well, because you cannot go to a ballpark without getting peanuts. James loved holding the bag - such a big boy!

And then, after watching the game for a while, someone got very sleepy.

Overall, it was a great 1st trip to Wrigley and we cannot wait to go again soon.
Even though we couldn't stay for the whole game, happily it ended with a great big W! GO CUBS!

What a fun afternoon! I can't wait to see the picture they send you of his name on the marquee! That's pretty damn cool!! :)
