Here's the prep work for James' superhero party. We're making a city for the kids to fly over so I can take their photos - you know like how superheroes fly over their cities?
Spray painted them black/grey
These are the medals that are wooden circles that we painted gold - then we'll put a rivet in and then thread red, white and blue ribbon through so the kids can decorate them and wear them.
Boxes are dry, now to tape them
Then blue spray paint
et voila
Waiting for everything to dry and enjoying the super nice weather

And the capes came - I ordered these off of etsy and they are so so so cute. We got Super Girl, Batman, Batgirl, The Flash, Green Lantern, Captain America - you name it. The lady even made a special one for Cillian.
And then, we received a package from Uncle Johnny and Aunt Clare and in it was this Superman costume. James put it on immediately and wore it until he went to bed. And then as soon as he got up the next day he put it on again. Thank you so much Aunt Clare and Uncle Johnny!!!!
