It's that time of year again! Christmas tree decorating time! We were so excited to get our first Christmas tree for the house!!!! This would be our first Christmas in our home and we all were so excited. We even got new lights ... which will be hard to miss. When everything finally went up, it looked a bit like we were the Griswalds. But, it ended up fine. I think. Also, and I know this will be hard to believe but we will be on helmet number FOUR now. Personally, I was fighting this because I didn't think it was going to work well with his glasses and I told the technician that if it did interfere with his glasses, we're done. We're a no go. Glasses trump head shape. Doug was perpetually optimistic that this helmet, helmet number four was going to be the one to do it. He was right. It fit. The story of helmet wearing we'd been hearing from the get go finally was our story too. After three helmets to shape his head close enough to normal, we finally got to the point where the helmet would stay on and shape the rest of his head. And, it actually helped keep his glasses on too. Did you know swallowing pride was tough? Yeah, it is. I was wrong. But, I'm grateful I listened to Doug and did helmet number four.
Okay, enough about that - back to CHRISTMAS!
