Neato

Mom left for New York on Sunday afternoon and arrived just in time for the wake. When we got back to Neato and Nana's house, this is what I saw. At the table was Neato's chair, his paper, his beloved Nana in the center, things from his grandchildren, and photos of his great-grandchildren surrounding him.

James, Neato and Nana loved you very much - you were their FIRST great-grandchild. You and Mom share this special place in the family - Mom was their first grandchild. Neato called us the alpha and omega. The day you were born was one of the proudest days of his life because you gave him the gift of becoming a great-grandfather and seeing his family grow to the next generation. In front of his wheelchair, I hope you can see that on both his left and right sides, there is a photograph of you. James, the photographs were worn where Neato would hold them. He loved you so much and will be a part of our lives forever.
