Mother's Day

Mother's Day was awesome today. Not just because we went to brunch, or because I received wonderful cards from my guys but because today was spent with my son and my husband. James made this day possible. And for that, I am forever grateful. We got to all snuggle in the big bed today because James woke up around 6am and then we all got ready and enjoyed a wonderful brunch together.
James loved the jazz band that was there and even danced. Other children were watching, but James was the lone brunch dancer. I couldn't help but be proud :)
In the childrens' room, there were minature golf clubs ...
in due time Grandpa Mike, in due time :)
We walked home and then spent the rest of the afternoon outside together as a family. We blew bubbles, ran up the hills, down the hills and enjoyed watching the boats in the harbor. Today wouldn't have been the same without James. It is truly an honor.
