The Big "One Month"

James turned one month old on May 28th! Can you believe it's been one month already? James now sleeps in his crib for longer stretches and has a fantastic appetite. He gets two baths a week and loves being in the warm water. He is starting to make little sounds that are soooooo cute to hear. His little voice is adorable!! We are finding ourselves repeating the sound he makes to him so he'll continue doing it - it's just awesome. He's also starting to smile more which is amazing - it's so cute to see. We've been trying to catch him in a photograph smiling but we've been unable to do it - we'll post it when we've got it. We celebrated the big One Month with cupcakes from Sweet Mandy B's and they were delicious! Mom took a cab deep into Lincoln Park to get them and it was totally worth it. James fell asleep before he ate his cupcake ... Mommy treated herself to it ... you know, just to keep the kitchen tidy :o) Aunt Erica stopped by on Tuesday to visit with James and Mommom Liz and we all played on the tummy time mat together - it was so much fun! James had a fantastic one month appointment with Dr. Weinstein. James now weighs 10 pounds and is 22 inches long and has a head circumference of 39.5 cm. Dr. Weinstein plotted this information on his chart and told me that James is in the 50th percentile for weight, height and head measurement - so Baby James is just where he should be! Great job James and a pat on the back to Mom and Dad :o) June is going to be a busy month with lots of visits from friends of Mom and Dad and Dad's first Father's Day! Grandma and Grandpa Sennott will be coming at the end of June - they can't wait to meet James and we can't wait for James to meet them too!
