As it is the tradition of any football loving family, we make a big deal of the Superbowl. We even got to eat on the 3rd floor - this does not happen. Ever. Well, I guess except for the Superbowl. This year was super fun because Seattle was in it and since my folks are out there now, my Dad's become a huge Seahawks fan. I think deep down, he will always be true to the Jets but - you live someplace for long enough and you want to root for the home team. James was so anti-Seahawk and actually became a Peyton Manning fan a little bit. He was very very very sad when they lost. He told me he was rooting for Peyton and the Broncos because "they are the same colors as the Bears and Peyton Manning is a good quarterback Mom." From the mouths of babes.
Here are the pics from the big game. Disclaimer: James does wear the Superman shirt almost every day. It gets cleaned almost every day. I should have ordered more than one. And yes, Cillian is dressed out for the Seahawks. He and Mike Mike bonded at Christmas. They are buddies.
James thought the Stephen Colbert pistachio commercial was the funniest thing ever. He kept reenacting it. PISTACHIO!!!!!!!!!!
