We had a wonderful Easter this year and hope that you all did as well. I feel like this should have been posted yesterday but getting back into the school routine after a week off, I was tuckered out and used James' nap time as my own nap time :) It was delightful. Anyway, back to Easter. On Saturday, we colored eggs and then Sunday morning, James found some Easter eggs we had 'hidden' in the main room - jellybeans, some stickers and a photo book I made for James with photos of James around the city, James and family members, James and his two teachers and James with two of his friends. It's so cute and just the perfect size for him to carry around. Doug and I (okay just me) made the mistake of letting James have Jellybeans prior to Mass - the result was probably entertaining for a few people sitting behind us. . . The sugar buzz wore off and we were able to enjoy brunch and James was so excited to see the Easter Bunny. He told him thank you for his gifts - which was totally unprompted by us - it melted my heart a little bit. James kept giving the Easter Bunny hugs ... it was kind of funny. We have pictures. After we all slept off brunch, Auntie E came over for dinner and we had a blast. Erica brought James his own basket of Easter treats AND cupcakes for dessert! We had such a wonderful Easter and are so thankful for our friends and family.
Here are some of the photos - Enjoy!

Love the pants...this is why I need a boy next time! Happy Easter!! :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteThe pants are RL and are one of my favorite things. Ever. Little C could always rock a madras skirt or even an adorable little sun dress. I mean the sky is the limit with madras :)
