Living the Life of Reilly

Happy St. Patrick's Day Everyone!

I love the expression Living the Life of Reilly. I thought, how appropriate to use it here for me and James today. James had a great day at school and got to wear his "Everyone Loves an Irish Kid" t-shirt to school. He was very excited to wear it today and also excited that Mom and Dad had green on too. Instead of doing gym inside today, the class went outside and got to enjoy the beautiful mid-50s outside. Just glorious. This afternoon it's supposed to hit 60!

Mom's getting better each day and heard officially today from the Graduate School that I have been approved for Graduation!!!!! I have been so nervous about this because even though I defended and formatted my dissertation, and passed all of my qualifying exams, took all my classes, did student teaching, etc, the GS goes through your records with a fine toothed comb to make sure you didn't miss anything before letting you out. But now, I am officially OUT OF SCHOOL!!!!! I hope Doug's having a great day too and we can all be Living the Life of Reilly!!!!

These things, I warmly wish for you-
Someone to love,
Some work to do,
A bit of o’ sun
A bit o’ cheer
And a guardian angel
Always near.
