We had a great Halloween weekend! We went to the farmer's market on Saturday and picked up some amazing veg and another pumpkin for James ... the others had molded on the balcony. Dad cleaned it out and carved it Saturday night so James could see it on Sunday. Worked out perfectly and look how scary it is!

Mom treated everyone to homemade pancakes on Sunday morning in an effort to recreate our room services spoils from the weekend before - not too shabby if I do say so myself. Dad even broke out the real maple syrup. from vermont. It was quite tasty.
After James' nap, we got him dressed and took him through the building for trick-or-treating! He had so much fun! He loved looking at the bowls of candy and picking one candy bar up after another. Everyone was so patient with him and he chose this one, no ... this one .... no wait, this one. He held onto his 3 Musketeers bar the whole time and when we got home, it was liquid in a wrapper. No joke - like you could have sipped it up through a straw. James is still too little for chocolate so we let him indulge in some graham cracker action which he loved.
I have to wait for Doug to attach a card reader to get the photos from the other camera but here are the ones from one camera - the battery died on us right as we started trick or treating. But, we still got some good ones! Hope you all had fun with yours on Halloween!

Just teared up a little bit at the library! I love love love James the Lion and the picture of him running to Doug with his tail flowing behind was the one that set me over the smiling/teary edge. The woman sitting across from me at the table gave me an odd look - whatevs! He's too cute! Happy Halloween James!
ReplyDeleteps - makes me think about a little ditty I once heard..."I am a jungle tiger..."
Ha! That's awesome! James was indeed the cutest little kiddo in the building. So glad you like the 'from behind' shot - the tail!
ReplyDeleteThat's right a bengal tiger :)
Such a cute lion! I too chuckled at the tail shot!
