19 Months

This update will be short and sweet. Today, James is 19 months old and today is also the day after we got home from Florida and flew during the Thanksgiving rush. Today also is one day closer to me defending my dissertation. Wait, what? Yes. The day is very near. VERY NEAR! So, I promise you that James is growing and thriving and doing all sorts of amazing and adorable things. Our trip to Florida for Thanksgiving was wonderful and we've made some great memories and had a FANTASTIC time! James discovered sand. And sand showed how much it loved James by covering every inch of him every time we left the beach :) James even picked shells up from the ocean. We've got ourselves a water baby folks. Sadly, the majority of the photos we took - ok, all but like 10 - were taken with the "big" camera and cannot be uploaded to the laptop because of it's 'elder' status. However, we've got this shot and I have to say, it's my favorite from the whole entire trip.

Believe me when I tell you that I will be looking at this photo every time I need a break from preparing for my defense. I hope the next time that I post, it will be terrific, PhD kind of news. As always, we love you and miss you all.
