We were all so very excited to have our dear friends Polly and Wade come visit us all the way from Atlanta! Polly and Wade both looked fantastic and it was so nice to see them!! Mama misses her Polly! When they first met James, he was a little cranky and hungry from his long day of errands and being outside with Mom. Polly and Wade let Mom feed James while they took the architectural river tour and then went out to a fancy dinner at Gibson’s! The next day they came over again and got to spend some quality time with James. Despite the downpour outside, we enjoyed a great night of burgers and brats with the Fowlers and the Ozbeks! The house was full of laughter and voices – just as it should be! James loved being held by Polly and gave her so many smiles. It was so cute to see. Polly even brought Mom her own piece of the south – a Mamie magnet from Gone With the Wind!! It’s one of Mom’s favorite movies!! There was even a remarkable event – Serge held James!! We have the photos to prove it! James hung out with everyone for most of the night – he was just too excited to go to sleep. After James went to bed, we got to hang out with Polly and Wade and catch up. There’s nothing that comes close to enjoying some good old fashioned girl talk with a great friend – it was marvelous! We can’t wait to be able to go down to Atlanta and visit them! We miss y’all and hope you come back real soon!
