On Saturday we had a snow-slush storm and James was so excited to go out and 'shovel' it. Of course Cillian wanted to go out too but it was raining/slushing/snowing so I followed Cillian around with an umbrella. Doug took photos of the three of us shoveling and me doing my best to keep Cman dry.
After Cillian's nap, the boys finally put together the bookcase we've had forever for Cillian's room. It looks so nice in there now! I'll take a picture of it when we've got everything set up on it nicely. You'll be able to see from the pictures how patient Doug is with the boys. They were very much interested in 'helping' Daddy build the bookcase.
On Sunday, for the first time ever, we got to use our fireplace. It was so exciting!!!!! We have been waiting since we moved in to do this. After almost two years of work, we were finally able to enjoy a fire together as a family. It was beautiful. Doug and I were taking photos and in one of them, you'll see it down below, you can see what looks like a heart above the fireplace. I told Doug it's like we brought the house back to life.

He loved the fire so much. He kept saying how beautiful it was.
James also was very protective of Cillian - anytime he got close to the fireplace James would say fire hot Cillian. No touch. Be careful Cillian.
