Christmas

Christmas was a lot of fun this year. My parents and brother came in town for a shorter visit this year because my Dad is having foot surgery when they get home and my brother has work. However, we had a marvelous time with them while they were here and wish so badly it could have been longer. The boys I know wanted more time with everyone. Doug and me and Mike did make it to the last Hobbit movie so it completes that journey for us. On to STAR WARS Dec 2015! Woo-Hoo!

Anyway ...

Cillian and my Dad really hit it off - these two were fast buddies. And of course, James got his quality time with Mike Mike too. And Liddy. Both boys filled up on their Liddy love as well. We spent a lot of time hanging around the house and being outside - it wasn't too cold like last year. It was a great visit and a lot of wonderful memories were made. My Dad watched Superman cartoons with James (from the 60s) before bed and even a Star Wars movie. Then after the kids went to bed we got to watch some funny movies - Christmas Vacation and Anchorman among others. This year we didn't have a lot of planned things - just being with each other hanging around and it was perfect. No plans, no pressure, just family :)
