Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving! We had a lot to be thankful for again this year. Most recently though we find ourselves so thankful that Cillian's cyst didn't grow or change at all. This is the greatest news ever. I called to make a follow-up with the neurosurgeon and we will see him on December 13th. His nurse said that he looked at the film and said there is nothing about which to be concerned and everything looks stable. We'll take it!

This year, James actually ate some turkey. And as a back up, we had ham as well. Our trick this year? We kept James out of the kitchen when anything turkey related was occurring. He did ask me though if our turkey had a family. He wanted to make sure it wasn't a mommy or a daddy. Yikes. I told him it wasn't. Then he said, "I guess it was just ready to die and be eaten." Can you believe that? I don't recall exactly what I said to him but I think I was able to mitigate the situation enough so he was a bit happier about things.
