Our little Champ is beginning to log some serious time in the bouncer. I've taken a few photos of him but mostly I sit near him and help him put his arms to the outside - he likes to be tucked in there :)
With football season ending for the Bears (ahem Minnesota), James has been sad. However, I have been enjoying the playoffs a lot. Ever since last year's Superbowl, James has been asking to sit on the floor again and eat mini dogs and watch football. For the last two weekends, for the playoffs, I have agreed and it's been great :)
Last week we watched RGIII blow out his knee in front of everyone and it led to James saying that he wanted to be one of the doctors that goes on the field to help the players.
This past weekend, we watched games on both days and enjoyed mini hot dogs wrapped in croissants again. What can I say? They're delicious and we eat really healthy every other day and at every meal. So seriously - everyone deserves to indulge every once in a while and this time of the year is perfect for it :) Plus, James makes his own - he makes his, I make mine and Doug makes his. It's great - dinner gets made 3xs faster :)
After watching the games this weekend, James has added to his love of quarterbacks with Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. He still proclaims his love for Cutler and the Bears so everything still cool. However, instead of being a doctor that helps the players, he wants to go out on the field and play with the Bears.
Oh yeah, and every time there's a tackle he says, "Oh Mom! Did you see that hit?" And then I smile.
Here's our big guy for weekend one watching the Redskins
And weekend two watching the Patriots-Texans.
*Disclaimer* James is NOT wearing a Packers shirt - it's a rugby shirt. So everyone relax.
