Isn't that a great shot? Doug took this and it's my favorite of the day by far.
Elmo is in the building.
So trick-or-treating was from 3-5 on Sunday in our building for the little ones. James woke up late from his nap and was not in the mood to go 'trick-or-treating' - never mind that he's a veteran trick-or-treater (this is his 3rd year people!) - there was no persuading him. Until we thought to let him try chocolate - the prize we were after that day.
Here's the first bite of chocolate.Ever.
He was in costume seconds later. And had himself seated right next to our bowl of candy. I caught him in the act of sneaking a Crunch Bar.
James is giving Elmo a kiss and a hug and telling him that he loves him. It was so sweet.
Our sign to the other kids in the building
And .... he's off
The best part was letting him ring all the doorbells and push the elevator buttons. And I have to brag here ... if we said we were going to floor 15 - James could correctly find and press 15. The same for 11, 8, etc. He's a smart cookie.
