Aloha Style

In addition to the haircut on December 11th, Mom also purchased Jack Johnson's cd - "To the Sea" - Mom was pretty fond of the song "Are they laughing at or with me?" And .... well, let's just say someone else in the family has become a HUGE fan of Mr. Johnson. James refers to that song as "Oh-Oh-Oh" and then dances. It's adorable. For the past 1.5 months we've listened to nothing but that cd in the car and at home. At the beginning it was just that one song, but now thank goodness, we've branched out and we are able to enjoy others. During dinner we can actually listen to the entire cd. James' favorites are songs 1, 2, 4, 6 and 11.

Our house is toally mellow. Aloha-style. All the time. :) It's pretty funny. But it's cool, he's from Hawaii and Mom and Dad LOVE Hawaii and some day we'd love to take James. Mom's playing around with writing a fan letter ... do people even do this anymore?

Regardless, anytime you're listening to Jack Johnson, think of James dancing away and playing the drums on our furniture, his car seat or the floor. We think we've got ourselves a budding musician in the house.
