Since the craft was for 20 kids instead of just 2, I adapted it a bit. But the link is here:
http://www.
Instead of shirt boxes, I used poster board. The contact paper was the biggest issue - no one sells this in "clear" anymore. But I found a local small hardware store that had a huge roll and I bought the whole thing. I will not lie here - I loved doing this. It was so much fun for me and James was so proud to say his Mom did this for his class. It was *almost* like being there. Almost. James still was sad I wasn't there to help but them together. But we did a run through at home. Here's the pics.
And then for Doug, I bought these. Because really, I mean, they are perfect.
And for James to hand out, I found these free printables online and we attached tiny glow sticks for light sabers. They were a huge hit for the kids and the teachers. One teacher asked me for an additional one for her boyfriend. Score.
I hope all of you had a wonderful Valentine's Day that was full of love and kindness.
Loves and kisses!
