Yesterday we took James outside to see the beautiful fall
foliage in our park. When Mom went for a coffee run while James and Daddy played, Mom realized quickly that she should have had a hat on. . . it was that cold. It was probably in the upper 30s-lower 40s so we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to try out a little whole body coat that Daddy bought for James. We decided to buy this full body coat because of the not so friendly temperatures that characterize the Chicago winters - we want to make sure our little guy is nice and toasty when we have to emerge from our cozy home during the winter months! Here is a photo of James just after he got into the coat - he looks like a little Eskimo!

We put James in the stroller and we were off to the park across the street for a nice stroll. James in the stroller with that coat on is quite hilarious - his little arms stick straight up into the air and his little hands are covered by the mitten sleeves.

We stopped at the lookout point to take some photos of our family all bundled up on this blistery fall day.

When we got back inside from our walk, James was all warm and toasty, but very ready to get out of the body coat. Verdict on the coat? Excellent for keeping the baby warm and recommended for anyone living in an area that has similar weather to Chicago. Stay warm!

oh my oh my he is the cutest! i love love love this kid!
